WT Air (Whiskey Tango Air) is operational since the 1st of July 2022 and is a virtual airline operator, with a very steep career path.
In the beginning it is only possible to fly and earn your PPL, hauling cargo in small planes. You need to have 250 flight hours to earn money with transporting people (CPL) and 1500 hours to get to fly with airliners (ATPL).
So currently WT Air is only about General Aviation. Hauling cargo using VFR over short distances in small planes. The system has a steep career path, and it is loosely based on real prices and flight time.
Salary can be earned, and money is earned for each flight that you fly. The amount is depending on distance, the amount of cargo, aircraft rent, and fuel used, with a little ‘luck’ component.

Plan a flight
Planning a flight is easy. Start with giving A departure and arrival ICAO and press plan. (see picture below) A known bug is that sometimes the system will return the Whoops! page. When this happen, the departure or arrival ICAO can not be found in the database.
After pressing the plan button, on the next page you are able to fill in the routes details, if it is a VFR or IFR flight.
The actual route distance is mandatory, as well as the flightnumber that will be used to save the planned flight for later use. The runway info button gives detalied information on the available runways.
Using the tab: Load plan, you can load a plan that has been saved earlier.
